Teachers find very creative uses for AncestryClassroom’s primary sources that go well beyond genealogy and family trees. Family history can be a powerful and personal connection to history — and it can be a minefield of painful emotions, family secrets, and missing evidence. We’ll discuss the complexities and rewards of doing this kind of research in schools, and we’ll examine inspiring examples of student work.
