CoSA's Year-End Appeal Launches with $6,000 Goal

As this year draws to a close, our thoughts are focused on the extraordinary work government archives do to preserve and provide access to the American historical record – work that is critical to an informed society and a functioning democracy. CoSA exists to be the place where individuals working in state and territory archives can show up for each other – working together to strengthen and sustain our state-level government archives ecosystem.
We know that many in our immediate and extended communities are dealing with uncertainty and competing calls for support. CoSA makes every effort to minimize our financial appeals and focus most of our resources on the work:
- Convening regular virtual gatherings of our members to learn and grow;
- Hosting an in-person annual meeting specifically designed by and for state/territory archives;
- Undertaking important projects like AWARE and BACKER; and
- Maintaining the host of resources created by and for the CoSA community.
By donating to the Annual Year-End Appeal, your generosity helps CoSA remain responsive to our community’s needs in an increasingly challenging environment. Your gift ensures CoSA’s ability to increase the educational resources and networking that help our member archives thrive.
Your interest and support are part of CoSA’s story, too. If you aren’t able to make a financial donation this year, perhaps you’ll commit to sharing our Government Archives are Essential brochure or connecting with your state elected officials to share about the importance of government archives and records management. We are always eager to hear the ways that you are encouraging others to explore state archives!
Will you help us reach our Appeal goal of $6,000 with a personal, tax-deductible year-end gift of $75 or more to the General Fund?
